東京のスケートパークと言えばアメージングです。
誰がなんと言おうと、アメですアメ。
いやあこのパークでは色んなことがあったなあ。
とんでもない怪我をしたり、栗田さんのショップでラーメン食ったり、トランポリンを無断で使用したり、外人デモでチャンピオンやエリックバークを見たり。
とにかく本当に色んな人と出会えた場所です。
もう何年このパークに通っているかわかりませんが、アメージングは確実に僕の青春の１ページでありんす。
そんなパークに行くとき、僕は必ずJR日暮里駅から京成線に乗り換えます。
これも何年も同じルーティン。
ですが去年あたりから日暮里駅の工事が始まったのを境に、駅構内に気になるものを見つけました。
それがこの案内表示です。

一体なんだこのフォントは、と。みたことがないぞ、と。
おまけに駅構内の仮囲いにはほとんどこの書体で作られた表示があるのです。
ほんと異様な迫力がありました。
文字だけでここまですごさが見せれることに驚きでした。
大竹伸朗の新しい作品としてプレゼンテーションができるくらいのクオリティーです。
で、実はこの文字、佐藤修悦さんという普通の警備員さんが作ったということを最近知りました。
おまけにけっこう有名で、You tubeではドキュメンタリーなんかもありました。

うーん。
世の中広いですね。
あと、この人が有名だってことを結構回りが知ってたのに自分が知らなかったことがやたらと口惜しかったです。
Tシャツとかあれば欲しいなあ。
※ちなみに今現在は日暮里駅の工事もけっこう終わってたぽいんで修悦体には出会えないかも。
前にはてブでタイトルだけ見て気になってたんだけど、こんなおっさんだったんだ。若い栗エイターの新しい表現方法かと勝手に想像してたので衝撃。
